Sushi Hama in Qualicum Beach, BC has openings for experienced Cooks.
The position is full-time (40 hours per week) and is available to start immediately.
Location: 221 2nd Avenue West, Qualicum Beach, BC
Job type: Full-time, permanent
Wage: $16 – $19, depending on experience
Qualifications
– Minimum Education: Completion of Secondary School
– Minimum Experience: Minimum 3 years of commercial cook experience
– Language: Able to communicate in English
– Able to work evenings and weekends as necessary
Responsibilities
– Prepare sashimi, sushi, rolls and other Japanese style dishes
– Keep sushi bar up to sanitation and safety standards
– Establish size of food portions, food requirements and costs
– Monitor and order supplies
– Able to maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies and utensils
– Thorough understanding of clean kitchen and work area
– Manage kitchen operations
