Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, and estimate food requirements
• Monitor and maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
• Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling procedures
• Maintain consistency and quality of food by following recipes and presentation standards
• Adjust seasoning and ingredients to achieve desired flavor and quality
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning
• Manage food storage and rotation to minimize waste and maintain freshness
• Follow health and safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed

Requirement:

– Completion of secondary school.

– 2+ years of commercial cooking experience are required.

Conditions.

Wage: $30.00 / hour (To be negotiated) and 4% of vacation pay

Working Condition: 30 – 40 hours a week.
