Responsibilities (Tasks):

• Plan and manage supply chain projects to improve to buy materials, manage inventory, and handle shipping for our garment business.
• Work closely with teams in both Canada and India- such as purchasing, production, sales, and quality- to make sure everyone is working toward the same goals.
• Review how our supply chain works to find delays, extra costs, or other problems in moving semi-stitched and finished clothes.
• Help introduce new tools or systems to better track inventory, deal with suppliers, and manage shipments locally and internationally.
• Solve supply chain problems like late deliveries, poor product quality, or supplier issues.
• Coordinate with our team in India to ensure products are shipped on time and customized correctly for Canadian customers.
• Keep track of important performance numbers like delivery speed, stock levels, and costs, and share results with management.
• Find ways to save money on shipping, reduce extra inventory, and make sure we have enough products without over-ordering.
• Train and guide team members on new systems or procedures that come with supply chain projects.
• Prepare clear reports and updates for the director and other managers to help them make better business decisions.
