Job Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from clients, vendors, and drivers.
- Coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Organize and manage driver schedules, ensuring timely and efficient routes.
- Track shipments, monitor delivery progress, and update customers on delivery statuses.
- Maintain shipping documentation, permits, and regulatory compliance records.
- Ensure all transportation-related files are up-to-date and properly organized.
- Input and update data for shipments, invoicing, and inventory in the company system.
- Generate regular reports on delivery schedules, costs, and customer feedback.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding delivery times, costs, and status updates.
- Resolve issues quickly, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Oversee office supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Manage vehicle maintenance records and relevant documentation for fleet management.
- Assist with onboarding new staff and drivers, managing documents and training schedules.
- Help with payroll tasks, including timekeeping and records maintenance.
- Assist in processing invoices, receipts, and tracking payments for transportation services.
- Support financial reporting and administrative tasks for accounting purposes.
- Provide administrative assistance to management, including scheduling meetings and preparing reports.
- Organize internal and external communications, ensuring timely responses and actions.
- Track safety certifications for drivers and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Maintain updated records for permits and safety equipment.
