Description
A busy professional family is looking for a home care provider in Montreal, for an 86-year-old woman. Full-time, permanent job. 40 hours, 5 days a week. Schedule: 9 am to 5 pm. Salary: $13.50/hr. Two days off: usually Saturday and Sunday but this could vary depending on the employers' shifts, so flexibility is essential for the employer. Option to stay with the employer at no extra cost. The person may have to take care of the house. Languages: French or English.
Tasks: The main task is to accompany the elderly person. In addition, the caregiver will administer medication as well as bedside care, assist in transferring the care recipient from bed, administer TLC and attention, as a motivation to continue living. The caregiver will be responsible for shopping, purchasing food and household supplies, providing personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, and cleaning, assisting the client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, preparing and serving nutritious meals.
*Educational level required:
General High school diploma – Completed
*Experience related to employment:
1 to 2 years of experience
