Position:	Alarm Systems Installer

Duration/Type:	Full Time
Location of employment:	Field, in and around the Greater Toronto Area; Flexible to suite client site & needs, work location will depend upon the assignment. Any assignments outside of GTA will be mutually agreed upon.
Reporting office:	1959 Leslie St, North York, ON M3B 2M3
Salary:	$24.25-$25.00 per hour; The gross salary paid is subject to all applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions such as EI and CPP.
Other Benefits:	Group insurance benefits including medical, dental and eyecare coverage
Vacation:	4% of the gross salary
Hours of Work:	32.0-40.0 Hours a week. Overtime applicable at the rate of 1.5 after 44 hours of work per week

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

Complete installation, programming, verification and inspection of alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intercom/PA systems, and communication systems.
Respond to service calls and provide technical support to customers as needed
Complete and return inspection reports in a timely manner
Provide operational training to end-users
Read and understand specifications, programs, schematics, installation manuals, and service manuals
Surveying sites prior to installation
Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring
Inspection of existing systems

Education and Experience Requirements

Minimum one year of work experience in installation of alarm systems, access control, intercom/PA systems and CCTV cameras is required.
Completion of a two- to three-year college program in electronics or college courses in electronics or on-the-job training with relevant work experience is required.
Valid drivers license required for commuting to the job sites
