Position Info:
- Position: Welding Engineer
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $52.05~$53.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 1
- Work Location: 6831 – 42 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T6B 2X1

Job Duties:
- Develop and specify the processes and machinery to extract, refine, and process metals
- Perform studies on the properties and characteristics of materials, and develop processes for moulding, shaping, forming, and thermal treatment of metals
- Conduct chemical and physical analytical studies, failure analyses and recommend material selection
- Coordinate production testing and control of metal refining, smelting, or foundry operations
- Supervise other technicians and engineers
Job requirements:
- Language: English
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Education: Completion of a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required.
