Wheelhouse Foods Ltd. dba Dairy Queen is looking for 1 Full-time Assistant Manager who could join us immediately. The details are given below.
Work Location: 20678 Willoughby Town Centre Dr, Langley, BC, V2Y 0L7
Salary: $24.48 per hour
Positions: 1
Hours per week: 30 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Job duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Assist in recruiting staff and oversee the staff training
- Set staff work schedules, assign duties and monitor staff performance
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
- Observe and monitor staff performance and making sure that they adhere to company rules and regulations.
- Deal with customers’ complaints and concerns and inspect entire facility for cleanliness and attractive appearance.
- Assist in the listing of seasonal rates based on the current market trend and confirm rates with the management prior to a change in the standard rate.
- Coordinating and administer front-office duties; set budgets and analyze financial information.
- Establishes restaurant business plan by surveying restaurant demand; conferring with people in the community; identifying and evaluating competitors; prepare financial, marketing and sales projections, analyses and estimates.
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of Secondary Education
- Work Experience: 1-2 years of Experience
