Carzone Motors is looking for 1 Automotive Engine Machinic Inspector to join their team on a full time, permanent basis (NOC 7321)
Job Duties:
- Review work orders and talk to your boss about it.
- To diagnose and isolate defects, inspect the motor in operation, road test the vehicle, and test automotive systems and components with computerised diagnostic and other testing instruments.
- Using hand tools and other specialised automotive repair equipment, adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems such as the fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems.
- Repairs are tested and adjusted to meet the manufacturer's performance criteria.
- Oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups are among the maintenance services that should be performed on a regular basis.
- Provide consumers with information about the service done, the general condition of the vehicle, and future repair needs.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is usually required.
- Completion of a four-year automotive service technician apprenticeship program
- On-the-job training of two to three years is provided by employers.
- Experience is an asset
