ACTIVE TRUCK CENTRE INC IS HIRING – 4 (positions) Automotive Mechanic
Salary: $24.00-$26.00/hr
Hours of work: 35 hours weekly, maybe required to work overtime and on weekends
Work Location Information: In shop (155 Healey Rd, Bolton, ON)
Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Hand-eye co-ordination, Manual dexterity, Overtime required, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods
Personal Suitability:Excellent oral communication, Team player, Judgement, Reliability, Dependability, Client focus, Flexibility, Accurate
Mechanical Repairer Specific Skills
Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, Diagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit, Repair or replace mechanical units or components, Test and adjust units to specifications, Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
