Automotive service technician
F/T, Permanent Position (1Vacancy)
G.A.P. Autopro in Surrey, BC is hiring an Automotive service technician.
Wage: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
Work hour: 30 to 40 hours per week
Vacation: 4% of gross salary
Language: English

Job duties and responsibilities:
- Examine various systems within cars to diagnose problems, running computerized diagnostic tests to identify malfunction components
- Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
- Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
- Perform scheduled maintenance service
- Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
Employment Requirement:
- Completion of secondary school;
- Training courses or a vocational program are preferred; and
- 2 to 3 years of work experience is required.
