Job duties:
- give facial and other body treatments, like waxing, using specialized products and techniques
- advise customers on the use of make-up and other beauty products and apply make-up to customers
- apply medicated lotions to treat scalp conditions and hair loss
- clean, shape and polish fingernails and toenails and provide related treatments
- being able to apply gel and/or acrylic nails is an asset
- administer massage techniques, treating soft tissues and joints of the body through soft tissue manipulation and relaxation techniques
- sanitize materials and maintain general cleanliness of work environment
This concerns 5 indeterminate, full-time job offers (30 hours/week or more). Wage: $15.50/hour. There are no benefits included in these job offers. The location of the job will be in Kelowna at 1171 Harvey Avenue. The anticipated start date is 1 March 2021.
Requirements education/work experience: you need to have finished high-school and have successfully completed beauty school or other courses in some or most of the areas covered by this position. Having at least 1 year of on-the-job experience is an asset.
