Position Info:
- Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $18~$21/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- Work Location: 283 Hart St, Coquitlam BC V3K 4B1
Benefits:
- 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay
- Medical and Dental after 3 months of employment
Job Duties:
- Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
- Assist with proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
- Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
- Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
- Maintain a neat, orderly, and clean environment, including all activity and program areas, common spaces, and washrooms
- Discuss progress and problems of children in staff meetings
Job requirements:
- Experience: 1~2 years of experience in childcare is required
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
- Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E.A. Certificate
- Language: English
