Job Title: Bookkeeper
No of Vacancies: 1
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time (Overtime, Weekend if required)
Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible
Work Address: 7954 Webster Rd, Delta, BC, V4G 1G6
Wage rate: $26.50 per hour, for 40 hours a week
Education: High School Required (Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping or related field an asset.
Experience: 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
Languages: English
Job Duties:
• Record day to day financial transactions.
• Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books and financial statements, and maintain general ledgers.
• Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls, utility and other bills.
• Manage account receivables and payables for the company.
• Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to management if required.
Essential Skills:
Working with others, problem solving, decision making, and continuous learning, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, Quick Books
