Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $19.75~$22.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 1050 West Pender Street, Unit 118, Vancouver, BC V6E 3S7

 

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook entire meals or individual dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and quality standards
• Participate in creating menus and determining the size of food portions
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
• Hire and train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food if needed
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Supervise the activities of kitchen helpers

 

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
