Uplands Pheasantry is seeking a hardworking, reliable and motivated game farm worker to work with us on our unique poultry farm in 2021. We are a family operated hatchery and game farm, hatching approximately 100000 chicks per year. Hatchery, rearing and hunting experience is an asset, but not mandatory. The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of poultry care and be physically capable of handling heavy objects. They should also demonstrate flexibility, judgement, initiative, excellent organization skills and should be a team player.
MAIN JOB DUTIES

Egg collection and care

Feeding and caring for poultry

Monitoring animal health,

Harvest crops,

Feed and tend animals,

Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment,

Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens,
