We are seeking a Building Superintendent at 1050 Paignton House Road, Minett, ON P0B 1G0, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:

Overseeing the maintenance and operation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal utility performance
-
Monitoring energy usage and implementing efficiency measures to reduce costs
-
Responding promptly to maintenance and utility-related requests from hotel staff and guests
-
Ensuring proper waste disposal, recycling, and adherence to environmental sustainability practices
-
Coordinating with external contractors for major repairs, renovations, and utility system upgrades
-
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, fire codes, and emergency preparedness protocols

Monitoring and maintaining security systems such as surveillance cameras and access controls
-
Managing IT infrastructure, including network systems, Wi-Fi, and guest connectivity support

Troubleshooting technical issues related to hotel management software, POS systems, and guest services technology

Keeping detailed records of maintenance work, utility inspections, IT system updates, and safety reports
-
Collaborating with hotel management to enhance utility efficiency, IT performance, and maintain a high-standard guest experience
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary school or equivalent
Language: English
Annual Salary: $54000 to $ 57000 for 30 to 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
