Burkeview Animal Hospital is seeking Veterinarian Assistants
Position Info:
- Position: Veterinarian Assistant
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $20.00~$24.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- Work Location: #104 1124 Nicola Avenue, Port Coquitlam, BC V3B 8B2

Job Duties:
- Providing nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
- Care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery
- Assist veterinarian by preparing surgical equipment, applying and monitoring anaesthetics, and cleaning up after surgery
- Prepare medication and vaccines under direction of veterinarian
- Perform animal dental procedures and assist veterinarian
- Perform clerical duties when necessary
Job requirements:
- Education: Completion of a two- or three-year animal health/veterinary technology college program is required
- Experience: Experience is an asset
- Language: English
