Position: Business development officer

Duration: Full Time

Location: Unit#820, 5915 Airport Road, Mississauga, ON, L4V 1T1

Salary: $54,000 per annum–The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions.

Vacation: 4% of the gross salary

Hours of Work: 32.5 hours a week.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

Assess business opportunities and develop strategies to attract venture capital
Identifying and contacting potential clients through networking and marketing methods
Developing new sales areas and markets.
Planning and directing marketing or advertising campaigns.
Collaborating with sales departments and other teams to meet targets.
Creating sales presentations for potential clients.
Managing outsourcing/employment contracts.
Addressing client complaints or concerns.
Research and analyze competitive and industry data for reports.
Review & interpret market information to fine tune the marketing strategies & strengthen the company image.

Employment Requirements

A bachelor's degree in economics/commerce, business administration or public administration is required
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in the field of Financial/Marketing Analysis, or business development is required
Must have experience working with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams & SharePoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Language.
Ability to plan and organize presentations, meetings, marketing strategies.
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
