Catering Service Manager

We are looking for “Catering Service Manager” for Delish Cafe located at 1-1380 Alpha Lake Road suite 4 Whistler, BC V8E 0H9, Canada. You will be required to work at various locations in the region.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all catering operations, with a focus on managing outdoor food delivery and executing seamless outdoor events.

• Manage client inquiries, bookings, and contracts for catering services, ensuring clear communication and precise coordination for off-site events.

• Supervise the preparation, packaging, and transportation of food for outdoor deliveries and events, ensuring timely and efficient service.

• Ensure food quality, presentation, and temperature control are maintained during transit and at outdoor venues, implementing best practices for mobile catering.

• Organize and direct catering staff for outdoor events, ensuring smooth setup, efficient service, and a professional customer experience.

• Coordinate logistics for outdoor catering, including venue setup, equipment transport, permits, weather contingencies, and staffing.

• Maintain strong relationships with event organizers, venues, and suppliers to optimize catering operations and streamline outdoor service execution.

• Monitor catering inventory, ensuring adequate food supplies, packaging materials, and portable serving equipment for outdoor deliveries and events.

• Enforce compliance with food safety regulations, focusing on best practices for food handling, storage, and service in outdoor environments.

• Manage budgets, pricing, and cost control strategies to ensure profitability while optimizing resources for outdoor catering services.

• Develop targeted promotional strategies to expand outdoor catering and delivery services, attracting new clients and corporate partners.

• Handle customer feedback, address concerns, and implement service improvements to enhance outdoor catering experiences.

Prerequisites:

Education: Secondary certificate or equivalent experience 

Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years in the food industry.

Language English

Hourly Rate: $ 34.67 to 38.00 per hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent

Benefits:  4 % Vacation Pay
