Joong Won Korean Chinese Restaurant in Vancouver, BC is looking for a Chef to work with our team.
Title: Chef
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD 20.00 per hour, At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation
Location: 1329 Robson St, Vancouver, BC V6E 1C6
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school education is required.
- Several years of commercial cooking experience is required.
Main Duties:
- Prepare and cook complete Korean Chinese style dishes.
- Supervise activities of cooks and other kitchen staff
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and garnishing of food
- Plan menu and create recipes with new trend
- Ensure quality of food to meet the standards
- Estimate food requirements and, food and labour costs
- Monitor the inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
