Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or related training
Experience: 3 years or more experience as a chef

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform kitchen audits
- Assist in the opening of new locations
- Train all BOH positions
- Troubleshoot/assist with maintaining proper food costing
- Coach and train all staff on proper takeout and delivery practices
- Ongoing food development
- Menu changes and additions
- Development of new menu items
- Promotions (Burger Week, Poutine Week, etc.)
- Food quality improvements
- Feature and LTO development
- Work in conjunction with Smitty’s Canada regional chef on new programs & recipe
- Participation in training videos
- Ensure all locations are following Smitty’s Standards
- Facilitate ongoing training and rollout of new menus each quarter
- Prep, portion, and stock food items and other necessary supplies
- Prepare specified food in a timely manner using safe food-handling methods
- Cook food items by grilling, frying, and sauteing to prescribed recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs
