Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $17.00~$20.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~44 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: #105 – 6404 Bowness Road NW, Calgary T3B 2B9

• 4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook entire meals or individual dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and quality standards
• Create menus and determine the size of food portions
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
• Assist in hiring and recruitment of new kitchen staff
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Oversee kitchen operations and comply with all health and safety policies and procedures
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

 

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
