Job Description:

Home child care provider needed for care for a child on an ongoing basis. He/She will be responsible for the well-being and physical and social development of child, assist parents with child care at our home.

Job Responsibilities:
• 

  • Create a stimulating, nurturing & safe environment for the child
  • • Provide and maintain an active, healthy lifestyle for our child
  • • Daily walks (weather permitting)
  • • Light housekeeping – child’s laundry, room organization, meal preparation
  • • Supervising and care for the child
  • • Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the child
  • • Overseeing child's activities, such as meals and rest periods
  • • Might be required to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the child.

Education and Skills
• Completion of secondary school will be considered as an asset.
• Demonstrated childcare experience.
• Previous experience with young toddlers.
• Previous experience with infants preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification is an asset
