Location: Markham, ON

Salary$17.17 to $17.50 / hour (To be negotiated)

Start date: As soon as possible

Vacancies: 1 vacancy

Work setting: Employer's home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Public transportation is available

Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children

Tasks

Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants, Supervise and care for children, Tend to emotional well-being of children

 

 

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Personal suitability: Client focus, Flexibility, Initiative, Judgement, Organized, Reliability

Security and safety: Criminal record check

Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
