Child caregiver – private home (Permanent employment, Full time 30 to 40 hours / week)

Location: Oakville, ON
Salary $17.00 to $17.50 / hour (To be negotiated)

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Scent free
Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Prepare children for rest periods, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
Additional Skills: Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Travel with family on trips and assist with children supervision and housekeeping duties
Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Security and Safety: Criminal record check
Personal Suitability: Reliability, Initiative, Organized, Client focus, Flexibility, Team player, Effective interpersonal skills
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
