Education: College GEGEP or other non-university certificates or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Site Environment:
- Personal and social adjustment and health (substance abuse, gambling, behaviour disorders)
- Programs dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorder
Work Setting:
- Group home
- Work in Employer's/Client's home
- Rural area
- Community Centre
- Private residence
Responsibilities (Tasks)
- Administrative and office activities
- Appraise clients or eligibility for specific services with the community
- Resolve conflict resolution
- Implement behaviour management programs
- Liaise with other special services agencies and health care providers involved with clients
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Accompany clients/guests to appointments and social outings
Credentials:
- Mandt system Training
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
