Wage: 20 per hour

Hours (each week): 32
Location of work: 2-3 main sites in the lower mainland region only
Education: Secondary
Work Experience: 1-2 years preferred.
Some experience on a construction site is required.
Job Duties:
Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas as well as move debris trash
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites
Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities as required
Assist in drilling and blasting rock at construction sites as required for houses on mountain areas
Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel as per job specifications
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment to clear debris.
Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed while using safe practice
Oil and grease machinery for regular maintenance.
Direct traffic at or near construction sites if required.
Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
Install and assist landscapers with bringing sod, laying and installing plants as well as other finishing materials
Job Requirements:
Punctual
Able to lift 50 Lbs repetitively
Attention to detail
Able to follow directions and complete tasks assigned
Good attitude
Ensure that job site stays clear of hazards
Safety certificates are an asset
