Grand Chinese Restaurant in Burnaby, BC is looking for a Cook to work with our team.
Title: Cook
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD 14.00 – CAD 16.00 per hour, At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation
Location: 4461 Lougheed Highway suite #1 Burnaby, BC V5C 3Z2
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school education
- 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience
Main Duties:
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Prepare and cook Chinese style dishes
- Determine portion of food, arrange and garnish dishes
- Ensure to maintain high quality of foods
- Manage the inventory of food ingredients
- Train kitchen helpers or new cook with advanced cooking skills
- May clean kitchen and work area
