Ono’s Sushi in Abbotsford, BC is looking for qualified Cooks to join our team.
Job Position: Cook (Permanent)
Positions Available: 2
Hourly Wage: C$16.25 ~ C$18.00 (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 35-40 hours per week
Vacation: 4% of gross salary for vacation pay or 10 days paid vacation per year

Job Duties:
v Prepare and make Japanese dishes from menu including teriyaki, ramen, chicken karage and tempura.
v Complete presentation of dishes and decoration
v Train and oversee kitchen helpers
v Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
v Ensure the standards of food safety and sanitation are adhered
v Maintain work areas clean
Job Requirements:
– Education: Completion of secondary school
– Experience: A minimum of 2 years of commercial cooking experience
– Language: English
