Job Duties:
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods as per menu
Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers as required
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
May set up and oversee buffets as well as keep stocked as required
Complete baking as required
Clean kitchen and work area to company standards
Transfer skills to other team members and to kitchen helpers
Preparing and cooking dishes as per special orders via allergies accurately
Other duties that apply
Job Requirements:
Must have breakfast cooking skills – ie, cooking different types of eggs
Punctual
Attention to detail
Able to work in a fast paced kitchen
Able to manage large orders and organize dishes to be completed on time
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Able to shift work, late hours and weekends
Lifting 30Lbs repeatedly
Work Experience:
Min 3 years experience as a cook
Education:
Secondary school is required – Culinary degree is an asset
