Mega Sushi in West Vancouver, BC is looking for a Cook to work with our team.
Title: Cook
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD 18.00 – CAD 20.00 per hour, At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation
Location: 5353 Headland Drive, West Vancouver, British Columbia, V7W 3H2
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school education
- 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience
Main Duties
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Prepare and cook Japanese cuisine from the menu
- Prepare authentic Asian salad dressings and sauces
- Determine portion of food, arrange and garnish dishes
- Ensure to maintain high quality of foods
- Monitor and order supplies
- Train kitchen helpers or new cook with advanced cooking skills
- May clean kitchen and work area
