Jagiya Cuisine Ltd. dba Woomi Sushi is looking for a full time permanent cook to join the team as soon as possible.
Job Details
Location: 28- 800 McBride Blvd New Westminster, BC V3L 2B8
Salary: $16.75 to $20.00 / hour (To be negotiated)
Vacancies: 1
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 30 to 40 hours / week
Start date: As soon as possible
Benefit: 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay
Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Job Duties
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
