1252977 B.C. Ltd. dba Vonns is hiring a full-time cook.
Job Duties:
The successful Applicant will perform the following duties:
- Preparing and cooking full course meals as well as individual dishes;
- Accommodating special meals for individuals with dietary or health concerns;
- Ensuring quality of food and gauge size of food proportions while working with minimal supervision;
- Inspecting kitchens and food service areas;
- Training and overseeing the staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food; and
- Working with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, etc).
Skills Requirements
- Completion of high school;
- Some college/vocational training in cooking at a commercial establishment or several years of cooking experience at a commercial venture;
- Previous experience cooking at a commercial establishment; and
- Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing.

Wages
- $22 – 27.00 per hour
Terms of Employment
