Working Hours: 40hr/week, 5days a week, may have to work overtime if needed

Work Shift: It can be daytime, evening, weekends and/or holidays

Wage: $24 per hour (Depending on experience)

We are currently hiring Cook to join us at Pizza Carano! Located in the heart of Frascrhood, Pizza Carano serves up non-traditional Neapolitan pizza, fresh pasta, refined Italian antipasti and all-day drinks. We are looking for an experienced Cook for the full-time position to work in the high-energy environment.

Main duties

• Help in the preparation and design of menu items
• Prepare and cook complete dishes in a timely manner
• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Keep a clean and safe working station and take care of leftover food
• Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
• Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
• Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Train staff for preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Chef

Employment Requirements

• Completion of high school
• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial kitchen or combination of culinary education and experience
