Mega Sushi Restaurant in Coquitlam, BC is looking for competent Cooks to join our team.
Position: Cook
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Wage: C$15.00~C$17.00/hour (depending on experience)
Work Hours: 30~40 hours/week
Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary

Duties:
· Prepare and cook Japanese hot food items (Teriyaki, Donburi, Chicken Karage, Udon, etc.)
· Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
· Supervise and train kitchen helpers with respect to food preparation
· Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
· Clean kitchen and work area
Requirements
– Completion of secondary school is required.
– Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial cooking are required.
– Physical capabilities: Standing for extended periods
– Language: English
