Tenton Ramen & Tonkatsu in West Vancouver, BC is looking for a Cook to work with our team.

Title: Cook

Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)

Salary: CAD 21.00~CAD 23.00 per hour, At least 30 hours per week

Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation

Location: 1731 Marine Drive, West Vancouver, British Columbia V7V 1J5

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school education is required.
• At least 3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.

Main Duties:        

• Oversee kitchen operations
• Prepare and cook Japanese cuisine from the menu including ramen and tonkatsu
• Prepare authentic Asian sauces, pastes and broth
• Determine portion of food, arrange and garnish dishes
• Ensure to maintain high quality of foods
• Monitor and order supplies
• Train kitchen helpers or new cook with advanced cooking skills
• May clean kitchen and work area
