Tenton Ramen & Tonkatsu in West Vancouver, BC is looking for a Cook to work with our team.
Title: Cook
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Salary: CAD 21.00~CAD 23.00 per hour, At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation
Location: 1731 Marine Drive, West Vancouver, British Columbia V7V 1J5
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school education is required.
- At least 3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.
Main Duties:
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Prepare and cook Japanese cuisine from the menu including ramen and tonkatsu
- Prepare authentic Asian sauces, pastes and broth
- Determine portion of food, arrange and garnish dishes
- Ensure to maintain high quality of foods
- Monitor and order supplies
- Train kitchen helpers or new cook with advanced cooking skills
- May clean kitchen and work area
