Tokyo Japanese Restaurant o/a Tokyo Japanese Grill in Chilliwack, BC is hiring qualified Cooks.
Position: Cook
Number of Positions: 2
Compensation: $15 ~ $17 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours of Work: 30 ~ 40 hours per week
Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation or 4% of gross salary per year
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Location of Work: Chilliwack, BC
Language of Work: English
Main Responsibilities:
– Prepare and cook Japanese dishes such as sushi rolls, donburi, udon, tempura, gyoza and teriyaki
– Ensure the high quality of foods are maintained
– Supervise and train kitchen helpers
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
– Oversee kitchen operations
– Clean kitchen and work area
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial cooking is required.
Completion of secondary school is required.
