Description
Joong Won Restaurant in Vancouver, BC is looking for a Cook to work with our team.
Title: Cook
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD 15.00– CAD 18.00 per hour, At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation
Location: 1329 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 1C6
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school education is required.
- Several years of commercial cooking experience is required.
Main Duties:
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Prepare and cook complete Korean Chinese style dishes
- Prepare authentic Asian paste and broth
- Determine portion of food, arrange and garnish dishes
- Ensure to maintain high quality of foods
- Monitor and order supplies
- Train kitchen helpers or new cook with cooking skills
- May clean kitchen and work area
