Burning Grill Korean Restaurant in Kingston, ON is looking to hire competent cooks!
Position: Cook
Availability: 2
Wage: $14.60 – $16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Work Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week
Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation days OR 4% of annual gross salary
Language of Work: English
Employment Term: Permanent
Work Location: 1399 Princess Street, Kingston, ON K7M 3E9
Duties:
- Prepare and cook Korean style dishes from menu including fried chicken, Korean BBQ, hotpots, rice bowls and soups
- Make an adjustment to food items to accommodate customers with dietary restrictions
- Supervise and train kitchen helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school
- Minimum 2 years of commercial cooking experience
- English skills
