Line Cook

Description

Meadow Sushi in Pitt Meadows, BC is looking for qualified Line Cooks to join our team.

 

Conditions:

·      Position: Line Cook

·      Vacancy: two (2)

·      Employment Term: Full-time, permanent

·      Compensation: $19.00 per hour

·      Work hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

·      Vacation: 4% of gross salary for vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation

·      Work Location: Pitt Meadows, BC

 

Job Duties:

·      Prepare and cook Japanese food items from menu, including donburi, teriyaki, yaki noodles, tempura, udon, etc.

·      Make adjustment to food items to accommodate customers with dietary restrictions

·      Supervise and train kitchen helpers

·      Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

·      Comply with food safety standards and company policies by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage

·      Clean kitchen and work areas

 

Requirements:

·      Completion of secondary school

·      A minimum of 1 year of commercial cooking experience

·      English skills
