We are looking for well experienced Cooks for a well-known restaurant “Blondies Pizza” located at 419 Parliament Street, Toronto, ON M5A 3A1, Canada. However, you may be required to work at various locations within the region.

JOB DUTIES:

• Follow all recipes and practise portion control to prepare, garnish and present ordered items. 
• Prepare a variety of meals as per the customer orders.
• Prepare salads and side dishes.
• Prepare dough and other essential ingredients and sides.
• Work as a team and prepare food orders within time limits.
• Instruct kitchen assistants and helpers.
• Assist in food inventory and control while adequately receiving and storing delivered items.
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/station daily. 
• Clean food prep areas, equipment, utensils and strictly adhere to sanitation, food safety, hygiene, and other health and safety guidelines.
• Return all items used during your shift to the proper place, clean and organize all work and storage areas.
• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required.

Prerequisites:

Education: No formal education required 

Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience 

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $ 17.20 to $ 23 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent

Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
