Temaki Sushi in Vancouver, BC is currently looking for permanent, full-time Cooks to join our team.
Position: Cook
Positions Available: 2
Wage: CAD$16.00~18.00/hour (depending on experience)
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 35~40 hrs/week
Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary for vacation pay
Location: #2-2156 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6K 2C8
Job Duties:
– Prepare ingredients and cook Japanese food items from the menu including sushi rolls, teriyaki, donburi, udon, and tempura, etc.
– Supervise and train kitchen helpers and other kitchen staff regarding food preparation, etc.
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
– Ensure food quality and food safety
– Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and work area
Job requirements:
– Completion of secondary school is required.
– A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial cooking is required.
– Language of work: English
