Festal Paleo Cafe is looking for four Permanent, Full time cooks who could join with us immediately. The details are given below.
Work Location: 433 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6C 1T1
Position: Cook
Basic Salary: $18/Hourly
Work Site: 433 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6C 1T1
Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week
Vacancies: 4
Main Duties – Cook
· Oversee preparation and cooking of complete meals or individual dishes and foods
· Manage kitchen operations and supervise wherever required
· Supervise kitchen helpers
· Verify that prepared dish meets the requirements for quality and quantity.
· Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
· Identify and or introduce new dishes for the menu.
· Work with management to constantly improve/ amend menu.
· Follow recipes and cooking procedures to ensure quality products are served
· Schedule work shifts for the kitchen staff.
· Maintain supply and stocking of ingredients and vegetables
Skill Requirements:
· At least 1-2 years of related cooking experience
Education:
- Completion of Secondary School
- A Diploma or Certificate in culinary discipline would be an asset
