Hiring Cook
Cera Korean Restaurant, at 490 Pandora Ave, Victoria is looking for a cook.
Salary: $15.00/Hourly
Job Type: Full-Time, 40hrs/wk, Full-time/Permanent
Position Available: 1
Benefit: 4% of gross salary for Vacation
Main duties:
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat and making sauces.
• Cook trendy Korean dishes in menu such as Jeyuk Ssam, Jeolpan and Tteokgalbi, etc.
• Clean kitchen and work area
• Maintain inventory, safety and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Ensure operation level of profitability and client satisfaction
Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years of commercial cooking experience OR Completion of a 3 year apprenticeship program for cooks OR Completion of college or other program in cooking
• Korean cooking experience is to be preferred
• Completion of Secondary School
• Friendly and team-oriented person
• English is required
• Must be able to do split shift, late night
• Must be available to work weekdays, weekends and statutory holidays
