Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
Job Location: 60 Victoria Crescent, Nanaimo, British Columbia V9R 5B8
Salary: $17.50/Hourly
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, 30 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible
Language: English
Minimum Education: High School
Work Experience:1-2 years of related work experience
Positions Available: 1
Job Requirements:
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare and serve food.
• Maintain standards for raw and finished product quality, service and speed, quality and
cleanliness.
• Control labour hours and cash flow while on shift.
• Maintain records for safety and appropriately document performance and incidents in personnel
files.
• Complete shift paperwork.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Train staff in job duties and sanitation and safety procedures.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• May participate in the hiring of crew members and assist in developing policies, procedures and
budgets.
• Know and help enforce and educate crew on appropriate personnel policies, labour laws, and
security and safety procedures.
• Share knowledge and experience with the crew.
• Receive deliveries.
• Complete equipment maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
