New Club Cafe is located in Vulcan, Alberta and our focus is on delivering exceptional meals at affordable prices without compromising on quality or taste. We are currently seeking the following positions to join our team:

1. Cook 

Job duties:

• Prepare and cook food according to standards set; 

• Manage kitchen operations;

• Ensure food meets quality standards;

• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers ;

• Estimate food requirements and food costs;

• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper food safe procedures are followed by all staff;

• Ensure food is properly stored and wrapped;

• Maintain effective communication within the kitchen;

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1-2 years of cooking experience in a commerical kitchen;

Must be able to communicate in English;

Must be reliable, capable of following instructions;

Able to lift 30 lbs.

High school diploma

Job type: full-time, permanent 

Wage: 17$/hour for 30-40 hours/week

Weekend and night required

2. Kitchen Helper

Job Duties:

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, carts and waste disposal units
• Clear and clean kitchen area, tables, trays and chairs
• Operate and clean dishwashers
• Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
• Place incoming supplies to appropriate locations
• Package take-out food
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Assist cook and server as requested

Requriements:

Experience is preferred but we are wlling to provide training if you have no experience.

Must be able to communicate in English.

Must be reliable, capable of following instructions;

Able to lift 30 lbs.

No education requirement.
