Salary: $21.00 Hourly for 37.5 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Our crews offer prompt and professional services to help our customers get back to pre-loss life with the least amount of interruption and associated costs as possible.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a customer-focused, hard-working individual with a can do attitude, and willingness to learn and grow. As a Disaster Restoration Technician there will be extensive work in the restoration process of structures damaged by fire and water. This involves physical work, which would include but not be limited to carrying equipment and construction debris.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Maintenance, cleaning, and monitoring of drying equipment used in the mitigation or restoration process.
  • Ability to assess and implement procedures that will expedite the drying process.
  • Working knowledge of mediation equipment operation and placement.
  • Manages onsite emergency response activities, including pumping water, clearing carpet, removing drywall, mitigation, etc.
  • Sets up deodorization, negative air, ozone, thermo-fogging and related equipment.
  • Upload detailed water sheets from the site daily.
  • Completes and submits timesheets for all jobs.
  • Ensures all health and safety protocols are being implemented and followed.
  • Assists with content handling, pack out, and documentation following company’s procedures as required and operation standards.
  • Mandatory participation in the On-Call schedule for servicing after hours emergencies on a rotating basis.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Education: Completion of high school, some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
