Watch Me Grow Child Care Centre Ltd. dba Watch Me Grow Child Care Centre in Coquitlam, BC is looking for a Full-Time, Permanent Early Childhood Educator (Infant and Toddler).
Conditions
- Position: Early Childhood Educator – Infant and Toddler (NOC 4214)
- Full-Time, Permanent position, 35-40 hrs/week (shifted schedule)
- Hourly Wage: $21.00/hour
- Vacation: 4% gross salary

Requirements:
- College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Experience in child care is an asset
- Credentials: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Infant and Toddler Certificate and Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
- Criminal Record Check
- Language: English
Job Duties;
- Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
- Lead activities and engage children by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
- Provide opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
- Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents, and attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
