Junior Einstein’s Academy a pre school and day care in surrey looking for Permanent, Full time Early Childhood Educators to assist in their business and who could join immediately.

 

Location:  Unit 103/107 8501 162 St Surrey V4N 1B2

Number of positions:3

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Work hours: 40 hours/week

Terms: Permanent Full-Time

Language of work: English

Job duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate program activities support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, taking children to local points of interest and providing opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
  • Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
  • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
  • Plan ,organize activities and supervise large groups of children in an active outdoor environment

.Skills and Education required:

Completion of a college program in early childhood education

Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certificate

1 to 2 years of experience
